Journey to the Demon Castle is one of my side projects that I created in order to learn more about game- and systemdesign.
It's an immersive 3D open-world survival and exploration game, drawing inspiration from titles like Forager and V-Rising. It seamlessly integrates gathering and exploration with captivating RPG mechanics and thrilling combat.
Current Implemented Features:
 - Respawning resources and monsters that players can gather and defeat
 - Seamless transition between the overworld and dungeons, eliminating loading times
 - A variety of weapons for players to wield
 - Grid-based building system for constructing structures
 - Crafting and refining using specialized stations
 - Engaging combat mechanics including dodging and attacking.
 - Inventory System
 - Basic Locomotion based on a statemachine system
 - Random Generated Dungeons
 - Map and Minimap System
